Makai (pronounced "Muh-kie"... rhymes with tie/guy... emphasis on the second syllable...) is Hebrew for "Who is like God?"

Overall Coen has done SO well with the transition! He loves giving Makai kisses, holding him, and being around him every chance he can get. There's no more "¡Mamá!" in the morning - it's straight to "Makai!!" and a "se-tay" (siéntate/sit down) so that he can hold him.
Makai/Coen in their first weeks - We think they're related :)
We are so thankful to God for a safe delivery for mom and baby, a healthy newborn, the excitement of a growing family, and family and friends that love us so well, both here and there!
