Reading Corner - Phase Two

Now that we have all our books, (which as of now come to a grand total of 281!!) we have been working to get the reading corner up and running before 1) I have this baby and 2) the kids come back from summer break.

The last two Fridays Tracey and I went to paint our two bookshelves...









Tomorrow Coen and I will go meet with Tia Susi to organize all the books into kid-friendly and accessible categories, create some procedures/rules for the library, and hang our syllable chart and calendar.  Pictures of that to follow!

    Remember like 10 months ago how we rolled our eyes and said something like this would never happen? Well, never say never! Way to get the ball rolling and encourage Chileans to participate (including the Chilean-American one in your womb!)!! Go, friend, go! The bookshelves look friendly and ready to be filled with books that will be read and not for collecting dust and garbage! Yay! Victory! Thank You, Jesus! I cannot wait to see the final product. Oh, and PS...Tracey looks so cute with a paint brush in many poses...but where are you and your gorgeous pregnant self??!! :) You can always just send me a personal belly picture! ;)
